If you use Outreach for your emails, you can now add your TIME Sites website thumbnail and link directly into your email with our integration. Follow the steps below to learn how to add the integration in Outreach and use it.

App installation

To install the Time Sites integration for your organization, you need to have access to an Admin account in your Organization’s Outreach account and follow the following steps:

  1. Log into your Outreach Admin account.

  2. Enter to the Time Site’s integration marketplace page. If you don’t have the link to this page, you can request it from our support team.

  3. Click on the “Install the app” button as you can see below:

  4. Review the permissions needed from the application and click next.

  5. Fill the two mandatory configuration fields with your corresponding organization keys as you can see in Figure 2. These keys are:

Authentication token: API token needed to authenticate with the Back End.
Account ID: ID associated with your organization.

To get the Authentication token and Account ID, please email support@timesites.com or write into our in-app support chat and request the keys apikey and the accountID needed for installing the outreach integration. We will get back to you with your unique values.

  6. Click on Install

  7. Select who should have access to the Time Sites app in your organization as shown in Figure 3. You can choose if everyone has access to it, or if only a set of users has access to it. Press Update when you're done.

Using the Integration

  1. Log into your Outreach account.

  2. Enter the “Email outbox” section as you can see in the image below.

  3. Click the “+ Message” button and the email text editor will pop up

  4. Click on the TIME Site’s integration logo in the bottom toolbar, and the app should now open. You can now have access to the list of websites associated with your TIME Sites organization. You can navigate it, and see important information associated with each website such as title, URL, creation date and updated date. You will be able to search your website by title through the list of all websites, so you can filter the listed websites.

  5. For each website listed, you’ll be able to hover and preview its thumbnail so that you can preliminary view the image before adding it to your email body.

  6. You can now add your chosen website thumbnail, name and URL to your email body. You can click on the “Add thumbnail” button for a selected website and the image and the link associated with the title and URL of your website will be added to your email body. You can edit the size of your image once added to your text editor, and you can also erase it. Multiple thumbnails can be added to each email.
